My name is Stan.
My passion for cycling started in the multiple parcs of Paris and its suburbs when, as a kid, I learned how to ride and later, as a teen, discovered the group rides.
​
My interest then grew even more when I moved to the foot of the Pyrenees. Moving to Canada 20 years ago helped me realize 2 long time dreams: becoming an artisan and making bicycles.
​
Fulled by appreciation of the unique artisanal work of Italian and American masters, I transitioned from my former job in financial services to the world of frame building and painting.

I focus on quality of fabrication without losing my true appreciation for the finer details and handling that make you both fall in love with a bicycle.​

At Spleen Cycles, we take pride in crafting our stencils, vinyl decals, and wet paint and powder coat jobs in-house.

Our commitment to is reflected in every simple yet elegant design we create. These core beliefs guide the development of our bikes and accessories, ensuring that we deliver exceptional products. We are happy to offer a 1 year warranty on paint jobs and 5 years warranty on frames and forks welds.
Our products are covered by a commercial general liability insurance valid in Canada and USA.
